We are committed to the careful protection of personal data obtained through the e-newsletter subscription form, event registration forms, or tickets purchased for the Diffrnt festival. 

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, storage, and processing of personal data collected by the operator of the Diffrnt website when subscribing to content such as e-newsletters, event invitations, and notifications related to event registration. 

Your data will be used exclusively for the purposes of informing you about the Diffrnt festival and notifications related to our activities and will not be accessible to the public. We will protect the collected data in accordance with ZVOP-1, ZVOP-2 (aligned with the latest second reading in April 2018, to be adjusted upon the adoption of ZVOP-2), and GDPR.

Personal Data and Purpose of Processing

We use personal data only for the execution of the SoundGarden event and related promotional and informational activities.

We store and process personal data primarily for the following purposes: 

  • maintaining contact, 
  • informing about the SoundGarden event and activities, 
  • informing about benefits related to the SoundGarden event, 
  • informing members of all information relating to their rights and duties regarding the terms of business and participation in the SoundGarden event,
  • informing e-newsletter subscribers about upcoming events and the latest content posts on the website www.diffrnt.si. www.diffrnt.si.


If you wish to receive e-newsletters, please fill out the form on the Diffrnt festival website. By completing this form and confirming it, you provide the website operator with the following contact details: 

  • first name, 
  • last name, 
  • email address.


We collect personal data based on demonstrated interest – subscription to e-newsletters or the selection of a ticket for an event. 

Processing of Personal Data

Personal data provided to us upon subscribing to e-newsletters or an event is processed exclusively for the purposes for which it was obtained. 

We also process data for the purposes of our own statistics. 

We protect the data with appropriate legal and technical measures and do not pass it on to third parties, do not transfer it to other countries, nor do we enrich the data with data from other sources. 

You can stop receiving notifications about news, events, seminars, and similar at any time by clicking on the "Unsubscribe" link located in the footer of every email message you receive regarding the SoundGarden event. 

Data Management

We provide personal data only to partners who perform contractual services for the personal data controller (accounting, IT support) and are necessary to fulfill the purpose. 

Personal data of members and e-newsletter subscribers is stored in a secure marketing automation system and in an email delivery system. 

Retention Period of Personal Data

The retention period of personal data varies depending on legal requirements and purposes. Accounting data for tax control purposes is kept for 10 years; data intended for sending news is kept until unsubscription.
