Lívia is a Hungarian senior communications expert based in Slovenia and the founder of marben communications, a boutique PR consultancy she launched two years ago. With 20 years of experience across both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors – working at the intersection of marketing and PR – she has a deep interest in tech for social good: how technology reshapes the way we tackle social issues. That curiosity also led her to social sciences doctoral studies, where she explored the communication contexts of technology and innovation.

She has worked with countless Hungarian civil organisations, including a spell as communications director of Bátor Tábor, one of Hungary’s biggest and most respected nonprofits, which brings affirming adventures to seriously ill children across Central Europe.
In her free time, Lívia explores Slovenia with her family, and discovers its extraordinary food culture – most recently through zima retreats, the gastronomy-focused retreat concept she co-founded.

Lívia je madžarska višja strokovnjakinja za komuniciranje, ki živi v Sloveniji, ter ustanoviteljica marben communications, butične PR svetovalnice, ki jo je ustanovila pred dvema letoma. Z 20-letnimi izkušnjami v neprofitnem in profitnem sektorju – na presečišču marketinga in odnosov z javnostmi – jo zelo zanima tehnologija v službi družbe: kako tehnologija preoblikuje načine, s katerimi se lotevamo družbenih izzivov. To zanimanje jo je vodilo tudi v doktorski študij družboslovja, kjer je raziskovala komunikacijske vidike tehnologije in inovacij.

Sodelovala je s številnimi madžarskimi civilnodružbenimi organizacijami, med drugim je bila direktorica komuniciranja pri Bátor Tábor, eni največjih in najbolj cenjenih neprofitnih organizacij na Madžarskem, ki otrokom s hudimi boleznimi po vsej Srednji Evropi omogoča opogumljajoče in doživljajsko bogate izkušnje.

V prostem času Lívia s svojo družino raziskuje Slovenijo in odkriva njeno izjemno kulinarično kulturo – nazadnje tudi prek zima retreatov, koncepta oddihov, osredotočenih na gastronomijo, katerega soustanoviteljica je.
